I know a lot of women suffer from depression after giving birth.
I experienced this myself after having my son George.
In this video, I’m going to show you how to do acupressure to reduce your postpartum depression.
The first acupressure point to help reduce your postpartum depression is ‘Bai Hui’. It is found on the top/center of your head.
To find this point, place your thumbs at the top of your ears, with your hands above the level of your ears.
Next, while keeping your thumbs on your ears, connect your two index fingers at the top of your head, in the center of your head.
The point below your fingers is the ‘Bai Hui’ point.
Push down hard on this point, and continue the pressure while making a circular motion. You want to do 30-50 circles, applying pressure the entire time.
The ‘Bai Hui’ points helps to reduce postpartum depression by releasing pressure that has built up in your brain. It does this by increasing blood circulation in the brain thus relaxing the nerves of the brain.
The ‘Bai Hui’ point is also very effective at reducing headaches.
If you have any question about finding, pushing or understanding the benefits of the ‘Bai Hui’ point, please leave me a comment and I will respond to you.
See you next time,

[..YouTube..] Hi Dr. Bao. You say this point releases the built up pressure in the brain. Will it help to get rid of headaches as well?
Hi Dr. Bao. Thanks for the video. How hard should I push on the point? Should it hurt a little or am I pushing too hard? Thanks
Hi Mary. Thanks for your question.
It is okay to push the Bai Hui point hard…and normal to feel a SMALL amount of pain at first.
Of course, don’t push so hard that you can’T do 30-50 circles! That would be too hard.
As you push the Bai Hui point every day, the hurting will go away.
Like all new things we do, there is a bit of discomfort at first…but stick with it. You will be very happy you did.
